A very rare quarter stater from the Helvetii

CELTIC, Central Europe. Helvetii. 2nd century BC. Quarter Stater (Gold, 12 mm, 2.01 g, 9 h). Celticized laureate head of Apollo to left, overlaid by a vertical and two horizontal lines. Rev. Celticized charioteer to left, holding reins in his right hand and kentron in his left; below horse, triskeles. Allen 127 (same dies). DT -. LT -. SLM -, cf. 394 (no overlaid lines on the obverse and with a pellet instead of a triskeles on the reverse). Very rare. A lovely and unusually sharp piece. Good very fine.
