UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Late 3rd-early 4th centuries. 'Quinarius' (Gold, 13 mm, 1.99 g, 12 h), imitating Aurelian, 270-275. IMP AVR Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Aurelian to left. Rev. AII-SMI Eagle standing right with wings spread. The reverse slightly double struck, otherwise, very fine.

This interesting coin is a later and somewhat clumsier copy of lot 802 above, much smaller and with shorter legends.
