Geta, 209-211. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 33 mm, 30.95 g, 6 h), Rome, 210. IMP CAES P SEPT GETA PIVS AVG Laureate head of Geta to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. PONTIF TR P II COS II / S C Caracalla and Geta, both veiled, standing vis-à-vis, sacrificing out of paterae held in their right hands over ligthed tripod in center; behind tripod, bull prostrate left; in background, flute-player, half-length, facing. BMC 214. Cohen 145 var. (no drapery). RIC 156a. A bold piece struck on a particularly broad and heavy flan. Somewhat rough and with some old cleaning marks and a thin flan crack, otherwise, good very fine.
