Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.25 g, 5 h), uncertain mint in the East, after 128. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. COS III Aequitas standing front, head to left, holding scales in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC 483 var., Cohen 382 var. and RIC 339 var. (all from Rome). Rare. An unusually sharp and attractive eastern issue. Minor scuff on the obverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
