Agrippa, died 12 BC. As (Copper, 29 mm, 12.29 g, 6 h), Rome, struck under Caligula, 37-41. M•AGRIPPA•L•F•COS•III• Head of Agrippa to left, wearing rostral crown. Rev. S - C Neptune, nude, standing front, head to left, holding small dolphin in his right hand trident in his left. BMC 161. Cohen 3. RIC 58. A lovely piece with a fine brown patina and a bold portrait of Agrippa. Some faint old scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
