MACEDON. Amphipolis. Circa 148-32/1 BC. AE (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.15 g, 7 h). Diademed head of Zeus to left. Rev. ΑΜΦΙΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ Eagle, with wings spread, standing left on thunderbolt, head to right and holding wreath in beak. AMNG III 46 and pl. IX, 20 (same dies). Patina stripped, otherwise, good very fine.
