ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΝΤΩ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟϹ ϹEΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right. Rev. ΕΦΕϹΙΩΝ Κ ΑΛEΞ/ΑΝΔΡEΩΝ Cult statue of Artemis Ephesia and Serapis standing facing on galley sailing left; in the background, coastal line with a series of buildings with a large temple in the center; to right of the temple, boar running right. Franke-Nollé 555. RPC VII.1 400.1 = Triton VI (2003), 566 (same dies). Of the highest rarity, apparently the third known example. Somewhat smoothed and with some roughness, otherwise, very fine.
