LYDIA. Saitta. Marcus Aurelius, 161-180. Tetrassarion (Bronze, 26 mm, 16.19 g, 6 h), Titianos, archon, circa 161-175. Μ ΑYΡΗΛΙ ΑΝΤΩΝЄΙΝΟС Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. ЄΠΙ ΤΙΤΙΑΝΟY ΑΡΧ СΑΙΤΤΗΝΩΝ Roma seated left on shield, holding Victory in her right hand and spear in her left. BMC 35 (same dies). RPC IV online 1389 (same dies). Extremely rare, apparently the third known example. An attractive coin of really fine style. Minor flan faults, otherwise, very fine.
