VIRTVS EXERCIT / STR Trophy between two captives; to left, captive seated to left, placing his head on his right hand; to right, captive seated to right, turning his head to left toward trophy; in field to left, star. RIC -, cf. 253 (differing obverse legend). Beautiful earthen highlights. Good very fine.

This very attractive piece is not listed in RIC, but while its style is excellent, we cannot exclude that it is a very neat contemporary imitation
