Dinar (Gold, 20 mm, 8.18 g, 12 h), 'horseman' type. 𑀕𑀼𑀧𑁆𑀢𑀓𑀼𑀮𑀯𑁆𑀬𑁄𑀫𑀰𑀰𑀻 𑀚𑀬𑀢𑁆𑀯𑀚𑁂𑀬𑁄 𑀚𑀺𑀢𑀫𑀳𑁂𑀦𑁆𑀤𑁆𑀭𑀂 (GUPTAKULAVYOMAŚAŚĪ JAYATVAJEYO JITAMAHENDRAḤ = 'The unconquered and invincible Mahendra, who is like the moon in the sky of Gupta family, is victorious' in Brahmi) Kumaragupta I, nimbate, riding on horseback to right, holding bow in his left hand, with bowstring facing forward. Rev. 𑀅𑀚𑀺𑀢𑀫𑀳𑁂𑀦𑁆𑀤𑁆𑀭𑀂 (AJITAMAHENDRAḤ = 'Invincible Mahendra' in Brahmi) Nimbate Goddess (Lakshmi?) seated to left on throne, feeding peacock standing to right before her with her right hand and holding lotus flower in her left. Very minor doubling, otherwise, about extremely fine.
