Ex Zeus 26, 22 January 2023, 420 (expertly cleaned since).

Ioulianos Apol. appears on coins of Septimius Severus, Julia Domna, Caracalla Augustus and Geta Caesar, dating him to 198-209. His tenure can be narrowed down somewhat further, as his coins show both Caracalla and Geta as young men, rendering a date of circa 205-209 likely, all the more as none of Ioulianos' coins show Plautilla (202-205). It is worth noting that GRPC 336 cites a coin of Caracalla in the name of Ioulianos as archon rather than strategos. He thus either held both offices, or perhaps more likely, the coin, of which just a drawing exists, was misread, and in fact also referred to Ioulianos as strategos.
