Boldly struck in high relief and with an impressive portrait. Faint marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.


Obverse die links to VICTORIA AVGVSTI-denarii (see f.e. Leu 83 (2002), 739, NAC 125 (2021), 522 and Triton XXV (2022), 841) show that this type was struck as part of the Judaea Capta-commemorative issue of 72-73, which celebrated the Flavian victories against the Jewish insurgency and the capture of Jerusalem.
