ΠANTI Lion walking right. HGC 7, 64. MacDonald 41. Very rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. Beautifully toned and with a wonderful facing head of Pan. Slightly rough and with a few minor marks, otherwise, about extremely fine.


The facing head of Pan on this coin is a real masterpiece, showing a wildness and ferocity that mirrors the proximity of its polis to the savage Skythian tribes, at the edge of the known world.
