Volusian, 251-253. Binio (Gold, 23 mm, 5.59 g, 6 h), Rome, 253. IMP CAE C VIB VOLVSIANO AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Volusian to right, seen from behind. Rev. PIETAS AVGG Pietas, veiled, standing front, head to left, raising both hands; to left, lighted and garlanded altar. Calicó 3365 (same dies as illustration). Cohen 82 var. (star on reverse). RIC 151. Rare. An attractive example struck on an unusually broad flan. Minor marks and light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
