Two griffin-styled animals with long necks seated facing each other; between them, facing head or mask; all within rectangular guilloche-pattern within incuse square. Gitler & Tal -, cf. XVI.23Da (for obverse) and XXVII.5Da (for reverse). Jeselsohn -. Unpublished and unique, an important new addition to the Philistian coinage combining two different Gitler & Tal numbers. Somewhat porous and with a test cut on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
