Anonymous, circa 225-214 BC. Quadrigatus - Didrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 6.71 g, 8 h), Rome. Laureate head of Janus. Rev. ROMA (incuse on raised tablet) Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt with his right hand and holding scepter in his left, in quadriga right driven by Victory standing beside him. Crawford 28/3. RBW 63. Sydenham 64. Bright and very sharp, a beautiful coin. Thin flan crack, otherwise, extremely fine.
